Meet Alistair Sutherland of Harbinger Gordon Setters

Gordon Setter breed involvement since 1974 and owners of Scottish Deerhounds since 2003.

Located near Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

I am a breeder and/or owner of Multi Best in Show and Multi Best in Specialty Show Gordon Setters who are also stars in the field, obedience, rally, lure coursing, etc. 

I have been honoured to have had my dogs consistently ranked as Top Dogs in the breed and Sporting Group in Canada for many years.

I am a preservation breeder and produce quality puppies occasionally with the goal of improvement with each generation. Health, temperament, conformation, and instinct are paramount. Each dog used in a breeding program has had complete and documented health testing appropriate for the breed. Visit the puppy page for more info.

I enjoy many aspects of the purebred dog fancy with this very versatile breed including: Conformation, obedience, rally, agility, lure coursing, ring stewarding, judging and educational seminars.

I am willing to provide judges education presentations.
