I am a breeder and/or owner of Multi Best in Show and Multi Best in Specialty Show Gordon Setters who are also stars in the field, obedience, rally, lure coursing, etc.
I have been honoured to have had my dogs consistently ranked as Top Dogs in the breed and Sporting Group in Canada for many years.

I am a preservation breeder and produce quality puppies occasionally with the goal of improvement with each generation. Health, temperament, conformation, and instinct are paramount. Each dog used in a breeding program has had complete and documented health testing appropriate for the breed. Visit the puppy page for more info.
I enjoy many aspects of the purebred dog fancy with this very versatile breed including: Conformation, obedience, rally, agility, lure coursing, ring stewarding, judging and educational seminars.
I am willing to provide judges education presentations.

Meet Savannah MacKenzie of Harbinger Gordon Setters
While I was born into the world of purebred dogs, it took me a while to find this wonderful breed! I fell in love with Gordon Setters while working for a professional handler. This in turn connected me to Alistair whom quickly became a friend and I got my first Gordon Setter puppy from one of his litters in 2021.
I've since enjoyed competing with my Gordons in Conformation, Rally Obedience, Field Trials and Scent Detection. Despite my short time in the breed, I've been honoured to have a Top Gordon Puppy and Top Dog in the breed.
As someone who has long admired the breeding ethics and consistent quality of Harbinger Gordon Setters, it was an absolute honour when in 2024 Alistair presented me with a co-ownership on his Harbinger kennel name. I am so grateful to have Alistair as a mentor in this breed and to be a part of an iconic name in Gordon Setters.
